But to answer your question it is not illegal to conceal carry any weapon without a holster. I conceal carry in the waistband with no holster sometimes. I also have a N82 Tactical IWB holster I use as well.
I have one for both of my pistols now. Springfield XDM, and Kimber 1911. I will purchase one for every gun I own. It is truly the best holster I own. Even good for open carry in the waistband, not as easy though.I love the N82 Tacticals. Its my IWB holster choice as well.
I took lunch to my wife today at her work (convenience store) and as we are setting at the tables eating, I see an 80's hippie looking van with Kalifornia tags pull in. The guy driving could have been Shaggy's twin brother. LOL. Anyhow, Shaggy comes into the store and walks by me and does the bug eye :shocker::shocker: and the short conversation goes as follows:
Shaggy: WOW!! Carrying a GUN is really scary!!
Me: No, NOT carrying a gun is really scary!:banana:
Shaggy: Man, I don't F with that stuff!
End of sotry! Shaggy left and headed back to his great state. LOL.
I know, it wasn't very exciting, but was kinda funny.
I OC every day and it is always a nonevent, just as it should be!
I think most people don't notice or just don't care.
STAY SAFE AND CARRY ON!
You do know that this post is in the OK subforum, don't you? Is carrying a firearm in your wasteband (sic) without a holster illegal in OK? If not, what state are you referring to and please cite the statute?

Yes it is unless its in a holster or scabbared. I specifically stated open carry which by definition states any firearm that is wholey or partially detectible is open carry.

Thank you for the cite.
Tried a new BBQ place the other night. Smokies, on 71st, 2 miles into Wagoner County. Just the smell would put a smile on your face. Lots of good BBQ for the price. the place was standing room only. I don't think anyone even noticed my OC. Too busy with a face full of ribs and such.
Amen Brother AmenNow I really want some bbq!!! Bbq and guns, can't go wrong!
OKIE, I was just curious. does OK deny you right to carry in the state. Why can she not carry now?Wal Mart at 71st and the Creek turnpike. Was checking out with a load of groceries, the cashier noticed my OC and asked if I carried my gun with me everywhere. I said just about everywhere it is legal. She mentioned that it would be a few years before she could get a permit and carry. She likes to shoot, but alas, she had just turned 18 a few days prior. I encouraged her to keep her hand in it to be ready when she was of age.
"Be at least 21 years of age. (Note: You may take this course before age 21, but may not submit an application before age 21)."OKIE, I was just curious. does OK deny you right to carry in the state. Why can she not carry now?
Went to my local DLO office to have blood drawn for lab work for the doctor. Lady didn't say a thing.
