Been recovering from lack of sleep, therefore subnormal temperature.

Ventured out to Shoney's on W. Broad St. for sustenance this morning - went well.

OC is well received there.

Had Lebanese food at DoubleTap's mom's house yesterday to celebrate my BD. Good eats.

Otherwise I did not venture out.

Today's yesterday was Saturday. If you didn't venture out then I had breakfast with this stranger who looks a lot like you.

Biscuits n gravy while OCing at Hardee's on Midlothian near VSP headquarters.

Then to check on my Ram at Jim's Transmission across from Carmax. New cross drilled and slotted rotors, tandem brake diaphragm, hard/stainless flex lines, DOT4 fluid and electric radiator fan. Will be tomorrow before this stage complete as a man is out sick.

Trying to find a reasonably priced, well recommended power steering box is a real PITA.

Biscuits n gravy at Hardee's on Jeff Davis near DuPont.

Went to Burger King just down the street after for a sausage biscuit. They were closed so went to McD's at Meadowdale Blvd and Hopkins Rd - they were packed/SRO. Got my sausage biscuit to go and headed home to enjoy.

No horses fainted, but 4 young men involved in a private transaction outside decided to complete their business elsewhere when they saw my OCd 1911.

Going to DoubleTap's mother's home for a very traditional Thanksgiving dinner - sit down time 5:30 - all the trimmings from turkey to pie.

They cook, I slice, we eat.

Already planning my nap and looking forward to turkey sandwiches - I dislike turkey tetrazini intensely.

Had breakfast at River City Diner on Parham Road watching Master Logan help decorate their tree.

Closed out the day (11/25) with DoubleTap at Capt D's on Staple Mill Rd. Won't go back to that location - they don't pay attention to details such as getting the order straight...not the first time.

No panic or nasty looks anywhere as a result of my purdy OCd 1911 being seen.

Had an OC breakfast at Shoney's on West Broad Street at Skipwith.

A gentleman CCing engaged me in conversation - "Is that a Kimber?" L no I thought.

Gave him the nomenclature of my 1911 plus OC and VCDL cards.

had the opportunity to visit the well attended SKG show in Hampton and had a delightful time squeezing between citizens, talking with VCDL, a few other vendors...quite impressed overall and vendors stated their sales were up tremendously from past shows.

all in all a great time was had by this individual...and the side pleasure was seeing the trees in their different hues and the water w/ships as i dipped below the horizon into the tunnel...

Your post would more correctly have been made in the Hampton Roads - OC reports , but as a one time thing we'll let it stand here.

Busy day out and about OCing at these:

Hardee's, Wawa, Walmart, Jim's Transmission, Thurston Spring Services, Standard Auto parts, NAPA, Advance Auto, and Capt D's.

It makes no difference where. All of these establishments are OC friendly throughout Virginia.

Breakfast at Hardee's on Jeff Davis and a huge dinner at Golden Corral on Providence - they have made quite an increase in their price.

OCd here, there, and everywhere.

Yesterday, 1/29, had breakfast at Burger King on Jeff Davis Hwy near DuPont OCing.

When I got home my desktop had shut down and would not reboot. Went through a number of steps - nothing worked. Conclude that the power supply has fried.

Tried my laptop hard wired - it worked fine........then it give me a "cannot connect" message no matter what I did. So have no computer operating at home today 11/30. Am at the Chesterfield library branch near Meadowdale and Hopkins using one of their computers. There is a Chesterfield LEO at the information desk - yes I am OCing.

Both computers will go to the doctor this evening.

Problem was not with the computers, My battery backup unit died.
Took it out of line and everything works like it is designed to do.

I'm a very happy camper now.

Was in the customer service line today at the Kroger on Midlothian near Chippenham when I noticed a tall gentleman eyeing my 1911. He was carrying a pistol cross draw mostly concealed. A conversation followed wherein he asked me brand, caliber, etc. and I did likewise. Tommy was CCing (almost) a .357mag revolver. Invited him to our dinner on Dec. 12th and loaded him up with VCDL and OCDO info. Maybe we'll see him here.
