I hope this doesn't spill over to the U.S. I have a video of me shooting some milk jugs with my Remmy 700 sniper rifle and I am going to upload it soon. Technically it isn't in "an intimidatingmanner" so maybe I canslip by. ;)
If you keep calling it a "sniper rifle", that's intimidating to some folks, enough to call for bans.

Q: What's the difference between a sniper rifle and a hunting rifle?

Banning such content for the UK only is really nonsensical - either this footage is intrinsically evil or it isn't. What's special about the UK that they are apparently more affected by seeing weapons that other people would be? Will they ban war documentaries next? Can't wait till they prohibit showings of Henry V. Nevermind that Lawrence Olivier got a specific commission to make a film of it during WWII to whip up patriotic sentiment. It certainly does glorify martial virtues. Let them ban it and hold their manhood cheap.

More censorship - shall we ban books too? Oh I forgot, they have already rewritten the history books.

ban books? And here I thought we were going to have a nationwide book burning similar to the way the Nazis and the Bolsheviks did it.....

we must all be loyal party members...

censorship is great, should make us all proud to be Americans to know that what we read or have access to will be limited now...:banghead:

They really are looking at this wrong. That video can be used as evidence AGAINST the retards in court. You know, after the cops do their jobs and catch the bad guys, or did no one with a cell phone call this in?

I understand the banning of any video containing material or activity that's considered illegal. In the case of the idiot gang members terrifying motorists with an AK-47, I personally welcome the removal of such a video, as it gives a black eye to all users of firearms.

On the other hand, banning weekend plinker or sport-shooting videos is absurd and downright un-American!

What's next? Banning the shooting portion of the Winter Olympics ski/shoot?

They're not interested in being American. Look at parent-company Google's hypocritical yapping about the Chinese hacking.

In the meantime, you don't see them yapping aboutNSA and other government snooping on Americans.

Really? I guess I missed the fine print in the First Ammendment that said "except if it looks illegal".

Too bad any movie with criminals and bad guys in it will have to be banned, now. That leaves maybe a few musicals and that's about it.

Here's an idea: let youtube figure out what they want to ban and mind your business, politicians.

BTW, nice necropost.

Knife violence is up, eh? What next, are they going to ban steak knives now? When criminals start using hammers to kill people, are they going to shut down hardware stores to the public?

Actually, the most common method of murder in the UK is bludgeoning.

For those folks out there who are "vocabulary impaired" that means getting killed by someone beating you to death with a blunt object...

Next thing, you'll have to have a special permit to purchase a cricket bat...

Although I pray for the citizens of the UK, I really do believe that a people get the government they deserve, and if they aren't willing to DO something about the messed up system they've got, then they deserve the system they get...
