At a meeting, two officers from WMATA gave a presentation on their agency. In the Q&A someone brought up CC and how it relates to the screening they occasionally do at some stations. The officer then stated that state law overrides any WMATA policy and that concealed carry with CHP on WMATA property in Virginia is fine. He then went on to say that no permit is needed to carry as long as it is not concealed (while turning to show how he was carrying in a standard three slot leather thumb break holster). He then said to just make sure not to cross into DC or MD .
