What, speak up, I can't hear you :p

Remove the restrictions and the tax stamp - then the price(s) will fall. They're not expensive to make - the market will self level.

No doubt about. The one's I've seen couldn't cost more than $50 if they were semi-mass produced.
Probably much less.

I can make a silencer with items that at max cost only $5. It Is pretty simple to make. All you need is a tube some end caps and some baffles most likely cardboard or steel wool and a drill press so the bullet can pass through the end caps. Then A Open screw to screw into the barrel.

Pretty simple to make I have a license to carry a silencer and concealed carry. I never bought a silencer or suppressor. I always made mine and they professional.

Please cite as to license to carry a silencer

Seems as if you are implying that you CC the gun pictured above with silencer/suppressor installed.

uh, one hopes you did not just post on a public forum where you have violated federal law (NAF) by showing you are a manufacturer of suppressor(s)?

one further hopes you have appropriate NAF registration & tax documents for said home made suppressor shown on the firearm?

one would hope you're not truly that stuck on stupid...

As a army sniper, I used suppressors / silencers everyday. That way I could hear if someone was coming up behind me. If I had used earmuffs or earplugs I would not have heard anybody around me or at least not that well. Yes suppressors and silencers can be used in crimes. Most of the people using weapons of any caliber are using them on the firing range or as self defense. When I use my silencer is to protect my hearing for one and number 2 it allows me the safety of knowing what's going on around me with unblock ears.

I believe silencers should be regulated but only to the extent that of a criminal background, weapon type, and the weapon it will be used on the the license to own a weapon.

Ah so you want people to have to register their firearms to have the permission to be allowed buy the government to have a suppressor.

LOL no, not that one. That one is for my m14 that I just made last week. I CC my beretta m9a1 with a silencer.

When im out on the job, security officer, I am required to open carry a unsilenced pistol.

You misunderstand what I was saying. I was allowed to have one I did not have to register it because I was in the army.

When you join any military branch they do a criminal history. So technically you automatically are registered for those weapons that they hand you.
