• We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. It will be worth it! :) Please help by posting all issues here.
  • The forum will be down for about an hour this weekend for maintenance. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Beaumont texas 118K citizens without water due to water pump failures.

KUDO's to Exxon Mobil and two other companies for stepping up on Friday to rigged a temporary pump from the Neches River to the city of Beaumont's water system, restoring water ranging from a drip to a flow to residents' faucets!

as is the prison there where the warden refused to evacuate

Remember, you are financially accountable for a bureaucratic drone's failure to perform their duties. Though, they will remind you that they did you a favor by not "actually" shutting off your water service...thus the $40 favor fee.
