https://www.infowars.com/trump-admi...-score-system-to-determine-who-can-buy-a-gun/
The Trump administration is considering launching a social credit score-style system in coordination with Big Tech that would use spy data collected from Amazon, Google and Apple devices to determine whether or not an individual can own a gun.

“The proposal is part of an initiative to create a Health Advanced Research Projects Agency (HARPA), which would be located inside the Health and Human Services Department,” reports the Daily Caller. “The new agency would have a separate budget and the president would be responsible for appointing its director.”

HARPA would employ “breakthrough technologies with high specificity and sensitivity for early diagnosis of neuropsychiatric violence,” including Apple Watches, Amazon Echo and Google Home.

If I recall correctly there is a free copy of The Future of the Internet: And How to Stop It there.

Citizen’s can’t mitigate the onslaught of erosion of or rights in our community, states, or federally and citizens elected those overseers! Therefore, how can john q citizens stop private enterprises who provide the byways/throughput of www/cellular/etc from mis/abusing their privacy intrusion?

Btw...the overseers have already controlled your cite: “This site has been archived and will not be updated further.” Lol ya dougie john q citizens can stop it....rof...

It's not like they don't vacuum everything the public texts emails or talks on the phone about now.

It's the gun grabbing new " tech" they want to use as a crystal ball to predict what can't be predicted and use that to confiscate firearms.

Trump may be fine fiscally but he is a nightmare for the RTKABA, the 4th A , and the BOR in general. I truely dread his 2nd term.

I read Victor Davis Hanson’s The Case For TRUMP before I read his A War Like No Other: How the Athenians and Spartans Fought the Peloponnesian War. Democracy will fail for the same reason that the Athenian founders of democracy failed. ALL of the modern stories are foretold in the Peloponnesian War; too many snowflake progressive SJW. The elites and oligarchs will rule - and I will be dead. Bwahaha! FAUX U narrow minded a**holes.

Apple anonymizes all data that they receive. They won't even help crack a criminal's phone, and have now made it so that they can't do so even if they wanted to.

Whoever floated the idea that they would use Apple data as a social scoring point had no clue what they were talking about.

Google/Alphabet? Oh, sure... they exist to harvest and sell your personal data. But Apple has built their business model around protecting your data privacy, not selling it.

That's true to some extent, but you are paying for it in a form of a $1500 phone every 6 months or so

I don't know your phone shopping habits, but I'm finally on the verge of replacing my 2014 iPhone 6.

(Yes, I know that in terms of physical security, newer is better, but this one still runs the most current iOS.)

BTW, if you're buying a $1,500 phone, it better come with jewels and a free gun.

A current iPhone XR, 64 GB, is $749; up to $899 for 256 GB.

Their most expensive model is the XS Max 512 GB (serious overkill) for $1349.

Thanks for the reply. I am familiar with encryption technology and encryption requires a key to be used by the sender and the receiver. How do you encrypt a voice call to the cops, or a text to a friend (you do not know) of a friend to RSVP your attendance at a social gathering. Not everyone has a iPhone.
