Looking for a handle a while back, was big into Dire Straits at the time (still am to a lesser extent) and took the song "Sultans of Swing" and ran with it. I added the 62 when I started having trouble registering as just "sultan." No significance to the numbers chosen at all.

Partly because I did some time as an architect (of networks :)), but mostly because of the classic line from George Costanza in Seinfeld that shows so much lack of self-esteem that he doesn't even aspire to be one, but rather, "Please, Jerry. You know I always wanted to pretend to be an architect!"

It is unfortunate to enter nirvana without having tasted good sake.

In the Story, known as "Samurai-X" (Rurouni Kenshin in Japan), this young boy grows to become the "Batousai" - I have seen a few spelling variations of the word (title). Because i greatly enjoyed the premise of the story, i adopted it as a nick-name some time ago. It is currently my gamer name as well. - Here is an opening scene :)

The entire story is very deep, and has several layers to the story itself. Classic Material.

i studied the hell out of wash, calif, and mich for a month before i signed in!

everything was always 2A this and 2A that,
but some of the old hands would keep ragging, about the other rights, not just 2A!
they made it clear that the 2A was the only right that had teeth.
they made it clear that without the 2A, the 1st, the 4th, and the 5th, could be nullified.
they made it clear that without the 1st, the 4th, and the 5th, the 2nd, could be nullified!
i think that these four rights are the Key to preserving, protecting, and defending,
the Constitution of the United States!
i think these four rights depend on each other for support,
and we need to support these four rights equally, as they are
Necessary to the Security of a Free State!

You don't have to live in a HOA.:banghead:

Almost any house you want to own in is in one in this state unless you can afford acreage.
And there has been a few court cases contrary to that thinking too.

I bought my lot for $4,500 and the one next door for $2600, built my own house for under a $100,000 and it isn't a small home. Where else can I do this. I hate HOA's and think they are fairly unconstitutional. Ours was suppose to end or be up for vote in 2000 yet they just continued it without one and haven't informed the residents here that that was the case. So I do what I can to fight against it. And if someone googles Sudden Valley they might come upon this site. And 90% of the folks here don't like our Association but feel (like the federal, state and local gov.) that there is nothing they can do about it.

One of the main criteria for buying, when we were in the market ~11 years ago, was no covenance agreements/HOA Didn't wind-up w/a lot of land, but a nice little place on the end of a cul-de-sac and (for the most part) good neighbors - like I always say: "count on luck when you can't count on skill!" *got lucky on this one*
Last house was in Salt Lake City - had one nice neighbor (that'd been in that house from the build date) and one not so nice... w/dogs. Glad we've settled here, and not there!

Devilinbp is short for "Devil in baggy pants" which in turn is the nickname given to my old unit 1/504th Abn Inf 82nd Airborne Division. The nickname was written about in a diary by a German Officer during the Battle of Anzio. I have been using it for as long as i can remember being on the internet.

Jack House is a combination of my two favorite characters. Col. Jack O'Neill and Dr. House. Normally, I just go by Jack with a House avatar/sig. But I didn't know it was available here. Damn! Anyway, it's Jack or my game handle, which I wont share here for the same reason I didn't use it. Which is because of posts and people like this.

So, after your self-defense shooting, how will you explain your nom-de-net to the DA's investigator? How will you answer the prosecutor when he asks, "So, Mr. DC, why did you adopt the "killa" persona if not as an indication of your lifestyle? Weren't you just itching for an opportunity to earn your bones, so to speak?" "Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, this is your defendant, 'Mister DC-killer'."

I didn't feel like being unduly harassed by people over my screen name. I also felt it was in bad form to use it, for the aforementioned reason. It gives those idiots more fuel for their fires. But that was a personal choice and not one I feel should be forced upon others.

Coffin nails!
Not a harley!

What can I say...I like my smokes. Like the old old saying..."We all gonna die sometime."

As far as Harleys, I have 2, one of them a '71 Shovelhead FXR, and planning on more. But....show me a Harley that will beat my M109R......stock on stock...even the V-rod Muscle can't keep up.

So.....your point? :D
