I have noticed lately that its is no longer easy posting Pro-Gun comments on articles involving gun-control. Is it just me or has anyone else experienced the same thing?

Not trying to sound paranoid, it could be for technical reasons for all I know. I am not talking, of course, about this website but instead about various media sites.

It seems that logins are failing or the very act of posting a comment far more often than not initiates a technical glitch with many sites.

I hope it is just me, but it is really starting to get annoying ;-)

for various reasons not germane to the discussion, i peruse the internet to check on a myriad of subjects to include firearm or parts descriptions on bud's, gunbroker, ~ eh you get the picture, and for the past year or so i use google w/an active VPN, but since the first of the year i am constantly blocked, one out of four times, on the multiple machines is use, by google's insistence to know my location as well as flat out block me as i refuse to participate in google's "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network" so jump through this hoop or do this or that to prove you are a human BS!

only way i found to escape is to google's history, which i do at least twice a week

then prior to deleting google's history, when i immediately switch to MS Edge browser i do not have any problem whatsoever with my routing using my VPN.

additionally, since you bring up the point OC, i also have experienced, while logging into this and several other forums instances where i have had to log in several times...i marked it off to my fat fingers, however, now, now i wonder if something is afoot!

as pink floyd says...just another break in the wall...

I have noticed lots and lots of more liberal sites just shutting comments off completely. This includes,

NPR
Popular Science
Bloomberg
The Daily Beast,
a Lot of the CNN online comments are shut off too, but not completely.

It's easier to shut down the argument when you know you can't win it.
