I've seen that vid before. It makes my blood boil at what the British allowed and then run cold in consideration of what so many Americans are not only willing to give up but actively attempting to give away.

I have to say I don't feel one bit sorry for the British or the Aussies because they allowed this to happen. And as for as the Brits are concerned, their government is not satisfied with just banning firearms. They have banned knives, almost made it criminal to defend yourself and just this morning, I read where they are considering banning home fire extinguishers. They reason for that one? They want to save your from yourself. They don't want you staying around in your "flat" (apartment) and trying to put out a fire on your stove because you might get hurt. They want you to flee and call the authorities.. while not only your flat burns, but also your neighbors' flats.

The client for the project on which I work is Great Britain. Believe me, you do not want to live in the UK.

From what I understand, they're not necessarily banning them. Just banning them if they pose a "risk" in a communal area or something like that... :banghead:

I for one am willing to lay down my life fighting before I allow our government to take away our guns! Having served in 2 wars with the marines I think I can say that with honesty! I took an oath to support and defend the constitution against ALL enemies, foreign AND DOMESTIC and that oath is still in effect! When the times comes, just say NO!!! Against the real ID card, the north american union, gun confiscation, the chip, or whatever the US or NWO has in mind! Better to die on your feet than serve on your knees! Governments like to make is think we MUST go along with whatever they say, but WE have the POWER, not them! If a revolution is what it takes...then so be it! Grow some balls and STAND UP to them!

Across the Moat in D.C. a bout 20 years back they had one of those idiotic "gun buy back" programs. They also had a rabidly anti-gun weiner named David Clarke as a Councilman-At-Large. He piled all the guns on a table and then in front of TV cameras started smashing them with a sledge hammer; and the look in his eyes was what you would expect of a guy who had ahold of somebody who tried to rape his kid, I mean he was in a total rage-out.

What a dope.

Clarke used to make a big show of riding his ten-speed bike to problems that cropped up, and everybody thought that made him an environmentally aware "Man of the people" and something of an athlete. Thing was he lived up on 16th Street at the top of one or the highest points in the city, so he could basically coast all the way and maybe pedal a block or two and look all enviro when he rolled up to the scene. When he was done, he pedalled off to a taxi stand and put his bike in the trunk and got out a couple blocks away and pedalled home.

Now that's a liberal.
