How many people have been shot and killed after Waffle House went “gun-free”? I know of at least five.

How many people were shot and killed before Waffle House went “gun-free”? I know of none.

I do remember one of the best OC stories ever came out of the Kennesaw, GA Waffle House, where the mere presence of firearms stopped an armed robbery.

Anyway, here is the latest shooting in a “gun-free” zone:

"Hicks was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and concealing an unlicensed firearm."

Was he a felon in possession as well? Or just without an LTC?
And I remember the Kennesaw incident as well, partly because that is the Georgia town that passed an ordinance mandating all homes have guns (even though they didn't enforce it).

I’m so sorry WHIO newspeek article misled you by leaving out, as paul harvey would say, the rest of the story

So eye95, you’re under the mistaken belief WH’s 2012’s firearm policy would have prevented a patron, after an argument in the establishment, goes outside and gets their firearm from their vehicle puts it their pants and...

Investigators say there was a fight near the entrance when Hicks took the handgun from his pants and shot Brewer in the head.

Deputies say they were already responding to the Waffle House at 7611 Newberry Road to help the restaurant disperse a large crowd around 3 a.m. when the shooting happened. Unquote.

Now since it appears there was already chaotic activities going on at the WH which caused the establishment mgmt to notify law enforcement that their services were immediately needed to apparently re-establish order at 0300 after the community’s watering holes closed down, yet you truly feel WH policy was in any remote way led to the anger driven & errant and spur of the moment shooting?

Tis a shame WHIO newspeek media insists on failing to provide the complete report when COX broadcasters put it on their wire!

So eye95, i suppose you also blame Bush senior for ‘99 Columbine event since he signed the 1990 GFSZA.
