After a recent article featuring Open Carry in the St. Louis area, R.J. Matson, a St. Louis Post Dispatch political catoonist has drawn the (yawn) typical "OC'ers as cowboys" drinking coffee in Starbucks cartoon.

The cool thing is that it is in a section called "Punchline" in which readers submit captions, and Matson selects a "winner" to receive a (HOLY COW!) signed copy of the illustration with their winning caption that will be posted in the paper.

Well, after reading many typical anti-gun fearmongering comments, I have submitted a few of my own.

Anyone want to help? Who knows.....

...maybe left leaning Matson will choose your caption!

...and then monkeys will fly out of my butt.

Well, we aren't as far ahead as AZ on OC laws. Too many lefties and commies here still trying to tell everyone else what is best for them.

I don’t know about dressing like Cowboys. I spend a lot of time on my two wheeled pony though, and I do OC. And at times I do drag out the Appy.

Does anyone know if there was an actual winner to this contest?

Yeah, it was the "Go ahead, make my frappe" one.

how about "You know, these are the kind of people who, 50 years ago, would have been reacting the same exact way if I merely had the 'wrong' skin color... Regardless of whether I was armed"

or how about THIS for something totally crazy and off-the-wall!

"Hi, how are you? I'll take a grande white chocolate mocha, please!"

of course, we'd never see that happen!

Having bred and raised Apps for a number of years, I've got to say that is one of the finest Apps I've seen in a long time. Is it a stud or a filly? Whatever it is, good luck with him/her.

He was a full STUD. I had to put him down the other day. Usually he is at the front gate in the morning waiting to be feed. Tuesday morning two weeks ago the wife came in and said Jugghead didn’t come up. She also said he didn’t come up yesterday morning either and she found him lying down in the back. Well as we wear walking to the back to look for him, hear he comes, staggering. When he reached us he just collapsed. Couldn’t get up
