This list we have here are the municipalities that have voted NOT to ban.

What about all the municipalities that won't even bring the subject up, basically considering it a none issue. It would be a very long list it those were added.

I talked to the mayor and the City of Antigo will not be posting. Also remember Langlade county will be posted.

Dodge County is not posting at this time. At their last meeting they decided to see what the State was going to do with their buildings and then look at it again at their December meeting. I am assuming that they will not post since the State isn't. I read it in the Watertown Daily Times but don't have link to the article.

The City of Franklin will not post.

I was there this evening as part of citizen commentary commending them on following state law, unlike the surrounding communities of Oak Creek(11.38), Hales Corners(14.01(2)2) and Greendale(9.02-3(a)) which have chosen to appprove ordinances which prohibit concealed carry within their respective public buildings except for sworn law enforcement officials.

Waukesha County May Restrict Guns/ City Remains Ban Free

Waukesha County is apparently considering a ban on carry in buildings....

While the City of Waukesha is apparently not going to impose any restrictions. They were convinced in part by the Chief of Police who apparently pointed out the obvious:

Among other things, he said the only real way to ban weapons is to have a secure screening process at the building entrance, much like the county uses at the courthouse.

The City of Greenfield prohibits.
10.01, 4a 4b:

(4)
Possession of weapons in City buildings.
(a)
No person shall enter or remain in any part of a building owned, occupied or controlled by the City of Greenfield while carrying a firearm or any other weapon.
(b)
The Director of Neighborhood Services shall cause signs to be erected at all entrances of all buildings owned, occupied or controlled by the City of Greenfield providing notice that no person may enter or remain in such building while carrying a firearm or weapon.

I got a good laugh out of 10.02 - they also ban snowballs...I wonder when THAT sign goes up.
10.02 - Throwing or shooting of arrows, stones and other missiles prohibited. (Cr. #1414)
No person shall throw or shoot any object, arrow, stone, snowball or other missile or projectile by hand or by any other means at any person or at, in or into any building, street, sidewalk, alley, highway, park, playground or other public place within the City. This section shall not prevent the maintenance of public archery ranges or properly supervised private archery ranges or shooting galleries using air rifles, constructed and maintained as required by the Building Inspector so as not to endanger life, limb or property. Any implement used in violation of this section may be confiscated.
