Just putting this here "loosely" as no one else has stated a preference, and this location is close to my house, I like the food, know the staff and enough other people there that even when I'm the only one of "our group" there I always have someone to chat with.

That being said, if you wish to meet for breakfast but would prefer another location, for a change, because it's closer to you, or whatever reason get in touch either right here in this post, via a PM or a text (if you're one of the unfortunate ones that has my number). I will however, state that I prefer my breakfast cooked to order over a buffet breakfast, I know Grape enjoys buffets at both Golden Corral and Shoneys, so when he's back to full independence I'm sure I owe him more than a few meetups in those locations, or even the Taco Bell/KFC on Jeff Davis.

So, I'm going to raise a mug or 3 of coffee there and enjoy some food while remembering those who are no longer able to be there in body. BUT, the coffee will not be burnt and the food will not be covered in hot sauce .... :D:D

I did enjoy it, bacon, sausage, onion and an over easy egg all on a grilled burgerbun. Of course, with that I needed a "stack of napkins" to wipe the egg yolk from my chin :lol:

For those wondering about Grape, I was in touch with him this morning, he's continuing to recover and is fully intending to be out for dinner with DoubleTap this evening. No definite answer as to when we're going to hear that Dodge V8 again though.

Hi there! Thanks for your nice post scouser. Grape reminded me to post about going out, but you beat me to it! I did break Dale out for the day, and we had a nice time and did make it to O'Charley's for an early dinner. He asked me to post about what a lady said to me. There were 2 ladies in the booth across from us, and when I got up, she was laughing and asked me if there was a new Sheriff in town; Grape was decked out as usual. Anyway, she was laughing like crazy, I started laughing and told her that I was the Sheriff and that he was the deputy, and the laughing went on. Dale and I confirmed with each other that he's never had that response before. It was fun. Hopefully in a few weeks, the Dodge will be back in action. Thanks for your thoughts.

Sorry I haven't been able to make it to some of these lately…,

I've been out of state a couple of times and had to do taxi duty for 'lil miss sidestreet so that she can keep working her very first job! Too much to explain here, but will give something to talk about when I finally can make it. It'll be good to see you all again.
