Both my WV and Pa permits expire in the summer of 2010. Any opinions on how close to the actual expiration date before I appy for a renew.... 60 days prior, 30 days, 10......?

In PA: At least 60 days prior to the expiration of each license, the issuing sheriff shall send to the licensee an application for renewal of license. Failure to receive a renewal application shall not relieve a licensee from the responsibility to renew the license.

I've had an LTC for many years and, regardless of what the law clearly states, I don't recall EVER getting notified that my license was about to expire. On the plus side, a renewal is always issued during a brief visit to the courthouse (where the sheriff is located)- while I wait.
