Mayor Jackson is at it again. This time with a list of new firearm ordinances and regulations he would like to push through council. Only one problem with that.... half of the proposals are ALREADY state law and are being enforced, and the other half is covered under state preemption and COMPLETELY ILLEGAL to enforce!

This is a sham by Mayor Jackson. He knows full well he WILL NOT be able to enforce most of these ordinances, yet he is willing to waste the time of council and the money of tax payers to appeal to his voters to make it LOOK like he is "doing something."

Ohio Carry will be holding a rally in Downtown Cleveland on Sunday July 13th to stand AGAINST these illegal ordinances, and to educate everyone we can on why these are ILLEGAL, UNENFORCEABLE, and a WASTE of tax payer money and city official time!

Come stand with us! Open carry is welcome, as is concealed or no carry. We want your support no matter how you choose to carry (or not). Fell free to bring signs, flags, banners, etc. Prepare for the news to be there and to potentially be filmed or interviewed. Invite all of your family and friends!

The Northeast Chapter of Ohio Carry will hold their monthly meeting at a local restaurant after the rally. We will announce where on the day of the event. We will also post about parking and a meet location as it becomes available.

It is Amazing to Me, and other Groups like The Second Amendment Foundation, that some Local Governmental Units still do NOT get The Concept of Preemption.

In The Case of Ohio, that would be Ohio Revised Code 9.68.

I Thought that Cleveland already was Told by The Ohio Supreme Court that ORS 9.68 is a General Law, and it Trumps Home Rule Authority that is otherwise Granted to Cleveland by The Ohio Constitution.
