Hey everyone...

The family and I plan on making a road trip through your great state and want to know if OC while driving is legal. Now I understand that OC in Denver isn't allowed so I will just pack everything up while I drive through. Any help would be awesome. By the time we make this road trip, I will have my NV CCW and know CO will not honor it so I will be OC.

Colorado considers your car an extension of your person, so yep, you're good.

Yeah, you're completely good in your car, period. Just avoid making any gas or food stops in the actual city of Denver and you'll have no reason to worry about OC throughout the rest of the state (you can OC in the suburbs around Denver though)

Under CO law, the gun may also be concealed in your car, does not have to be in plain view. This is state preemption, so also applies to Denver. If you take it with you when you get out of the car, excepting Denver County, OC is fine everywhere in the state.
