I was trying to figure out if I can get kicked out of SFO if I was handing out flyers about those backscatter security devices and somebody didn't like it and then I started wondering if I could even open carry there.

SFO should be a public building since it is owned and operated by the City and County of San Francisco. I know if a private property owner asks you to leave then you have to. I know you can't go into public buildings while open carrying. I also know you can't go into sterile areas of airports. So what about a publicly owned airport? Is that a public building? I don't see a locked container exception in 171b, but surely you can transport a firearm through SFO when following TSA regulations. So what am I missing?

Can people protest at airports that are publicly owned? Can you get trespassed at a publicly owned airport?
