onus, why on earth do you believe more federal oversight on our nation’s citizens firearm rights is required?

the nice LEs in our great country’s communities violate the uniform DL statutes all the time in pursuit of their individual community’s unique profit center collection goals.

for goodness sake, the feds can’t even agree how it’s citizens can purchase firearms...now you want the national legislatue to figure out how to tell the citizens how to carry them!

i believe global warming will destroy the earth before our legislature gets those laws instituted.

I do not want the federal government interfering in the rights in NC. The snowflakes in commiefornia are not my concern, at least at this time.

This is a great reason why everyone should support national ccw reciprocity

Is it the result of the federal government that we have national driver's license reciprocity? Nope.
Is this a power delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States? Nope.

So why do we need FedGov to interfere in something the states are quite capable of doing themselves?

OK let me see if I can make this clear, and put a stop to this BS thread.

NONE of the 1st, 2nd, or 4th, or even 5th has anything to do with applying for a concealed carry permit. The 2A in no part says a thing about right to permit, in fact the courts have ruled that it does not. Being denied does not stop you from complaining so that leaves out the first. Since any information given to the police is not forced, or coerced, or taken, but instead requested, voluntarily given for a permit leaves out the 4th.

As usual this is just another cop bashing thread by the OP.

when states violate rights, it's the federal government's duty to step in and make it right.
