Hi everyone, I'm not sure if anyone here has been threw this but I will explain,
I went threw some legal matters a few years ago, I had charges against me and went thew the courts over the years for these charges and when it came up to the last day at trial (Verdict) I was found Not Guilty, I was exonerated by a unanimous decision by jury and I walked out but before I walked out I went to the service desk and got a couple of petitions to annul arrest record and charges, its cost $50 and I had it all done with in a month, As A Massachusetts resident the charges were out New Hampshire, I thought it was done and over with until it was time to renew my Non-Resident PA-LTCF that is when I got the (PICS) letter in the mail, I sent the PA State police the information about the Acquittal/Exoneration, Expunge copies of that issue and then they sent me a Reverse Denial letter saying that I AM NOT PROHIBITED FROM THE LICENSE TO CARRY FIREARM. I was told to present a copy of this letter at every renewal. I have all my licenses now but I would like things to go smother in the future during renewal time. a Note I was acquitted on Aug 2nd 2006.
It is Bad Enough I'm a Mass Resident and it's not easy getting this resident License nor the renewal of it, but I was able to, Is there anyway to have these expunged charges removed out of the NICS check system all together? I have not been convected of any crimes and will want to apply for other Non-Resident License down the line. I cant afford to answer yes on denials on my Mass resident renewal application. I already have two.
