I see that it failed to mention that on Day 7 of the Constitutional Convention of 1901 the following language was proposed for addition to our Constitution: " ... the General Assembly shall have the power to regulate the bearing of small arms, shall define the same, and shall pass laws requiring a license for the bearing of such small arms." The proposal FAILED.

It also failed to mention that on Day 8 this language was proposed for addition to our Constitution: " The General Assembly shall pass such penal laws as they may deem expedient to suppress the evil practice of dueling and carrying pistols and other deadly weapons concealed." That proposal FAILED as well.

It also failed to mention that on Day 78 our Declaration of Rights was approved to be presented to the people for ratification. Our Declaration of Rights was eventually ratified. It included Section 36 which erects a "firewall" between our Declaration of Rights and the general powers of government that follow it.

Other than that, the article gave of pretty good description of how our Constitution has been ignored by our government.
