I would like to say hello to my former neighbors from California. I spent the last two years living in Shasta County / Red Bluff and before that a couple of years in Monterey County / Salinas. I was at the time intimidated by the states attitude towards firearms owners, so chose not to participate in self defense or to use my rights properly since I was ignorant of the facts and the growing 2A movement. I have since moved back to Lane County Oregon/ Junction City and have been OCing almost continuously since. I still have strong ties to the Shast area and wish I had been able to meet with you like minded folks while I was there. I would have gladly joined the 'association'. I am currently working with some great folks here to start a Lane County Open Carry Association, we have had one meet so far, five peopleto start but looking forward to growing.

One thing I would like to propose is somecontinuing communicationbetween our respective groups as far as meets go and also support for those of us who travel between our states. I would be interested in meeting people when I travel to or through the Shasta area as well as hosting for those of you coming up to Oregon. What I have read in your posts gives me hope and pride in my fellow enthusiasts and I look forward to making new friends.

Just let me know when you will be in the Shasta county area. I'm in Red Bluff myself, but travel between Chico and Redding quite often!

I always look forward to meeting folks interested in OC.

I just moved out of Red Bluff a few months ago! Loved it there but was raised in OR and wanted to come home for a while. I still have stuff in storage there so will be back sometime in the next couple months or so depending on weather to get that. Then to the Feed Bag for some breakfast.. mmmm..
