You should print those pics and show them to local LEO.HEre open carry requires no permit,no permit required to buy one,The state has to issue a permit and cannot ask you why you want one .That is just for concealed carry. Most police are instructed in their dept.training bulletins.to leave you alone .The only thing they do is a background check when you apply for a concealed carry. When you have that there is also no waiting period to purchase. You pick out the gun you like and pay for it and leave.Thats is the way it should be nationally. The cops here that are transplants from back that way really have a problem with it.We can openly carry a firearm loaded into a senate hearing and the cops and sheriffs there had no issue with it.Just as a side note the head of Ceasefire thet helped push the proposed gun ban is from your area.

now with the OGAM law; many PD's are only issusing 1 permit per application..

prior to that you could apply for as many as you wanted; so now depending

on the length of the issue process, it could effectively limit you to just 1 or 2 permits a year....

some towns take as long as 3-9 months and in some rare cases ,over a year before they issue the permit...I waited 41/2 months for mine.....that equates to 3 a yr.

Family, fireflies and thunderstorms. That's what I miss.

It's definately a brighter shade of green and I've never seen (or smelt) as much roadkill anywhere else. The water leaves a lot to be desired.

Hold your Open Carry protest in Pennsylvania, just over the border from New Jersey! One inch, one foot, doesn't matter. Complete with signage. When the newspeople arrive, point out the difference one foot makes between being a free person and a subject of the State. In Pennsylvania it's legal; in New Jersey it's a felony. Easton (Pennsylvania) has a bridge crossing the river to Phillipsburg (New Jersey). There should be a sign halfway across marking the border. Take advantage of it.

Here's a picture from Pennsylvania's Second Amendment Second to None Rally held in front of the capitol building in Harrisburg. Yes, the firearms are loaded. Yes, the police provided storage facilities for all when entering the building.

The "storage facilities" we use while visiting the inside of our capitol building, here in Lansing Mi, are the holsters we normally carry our guns in.springerdave.

I have an idea.. MOVE like i did. I got fed up with NJ GUN LAWS. I live in kentucky now and i enjoy my rights to the 2nd
I must disagree with you there. Liberty-minded folks like us need to fight, and fight hard in these states. (NJ, NY, CA, HI, etc.) I know of more than a few people who've given up and moved to a "free state", but the truth is that if we DON'T fight the antis in these places, they will spread like a virus. I've spent some time in Arizona, and absolutely love their Constitutional carry. I've carried loaded and openly there. I've tasted that freedom. And I know that at one time my home state of California was that way, the way it was intended. If we don't fight them here, if we simply cede these places to the antis, guess what? They WILL try to take the next incremental step towards total disarmament in the NEXT state. They will reach places like Kentucky and Vermont. You guys have it pretty good, gun-wise. Your 2A freedoms are much more respected there. And it is my greatest wish that we can bitch-slap them here, and they NEVER reach Kentucky.

Carry on, brothers and sisters!

Carry water bottles in your OC holsters!

I believe I read about a protest in Wis where they did this. The constabulary was vastly perplexed and discombobulated. Seems there is no law on what kinds of water bottle holders are permitted. "Keep your hands where I can see'em and don't touch that H2O !!"

When water bottles are outlawed only outlaws will have water bottles--and the kids on the junior soccer team will be rounded up by the heroic "swat" stormtroopers in their clownsuits.

I have a great idea to further the carry cause in n.j instead of the famous last words "well Jersey Sucks" why dont we freakin do something. i live in ocean county i think it would be great if we get 50 or 100 of us to open carry in our front yards on a chosen sunday. wouldnt that do something? there will probably be arrests made, but hey theres nothing illegal about it and we'll get in the news and we'll keep doing it until we get our foot in the door. do i have any volunteers? lets stop talking and start doing!

good idea-i just moved to NJ from Florida, and am having a real hard time with the strict laws here in the Garden State.
