ARS 13-3102.A.10 and ARS 13-3102.01 allow "public establishements'" (i.e., gov't offies like MVD) to determine whether or not you can carry in on their property.

AzCDL is looking into legislative improvements.

DMV in Tucson, just off 22nd street near Pantano has lock box facilities with posted instructions. However, I usually CC there.

In New Mexico AND Utah; Open Carry in Public buildings is a Reality.
In California, Open Carry in Public Buildings is a Reality IF you have a California Permit.
In Colorado, Open Carry in Public Buildings is a Reality IF your Locality has not Implemented an Open Carry Ban, BUT Concealed Carry is STILL LEGAL regardless of any such Ban.
So why not Arizona?

Here in Lake Havasu, the DMV also has lock boxs`, but I was told by staff that the paperwork is a nightmare and it was easier to just leave your firearm in the truck. He did agree the process was stuped and thought it would not stop a criminal, but he was only an employee.

Just go to a title agency. Their "convenience" fee is SO worth the time you would have spent in line, and you can stay armed. :) But yes it would be nice to have it codified into law anyway.

I personaly do everything online, but that is not the point. We as law abiding gun owners need to stop looking for ways around the law, and fight harder to change the laws! I know we here in Az. have made great strides, but we need to keep pushing forward for total Freedom to Carry, if every state would make this there No. 1 priority, just think, no more worry about LEO when traveling, no more worry about criminals robbing, raping or just killing you in a parkinglot, no more wondering can I carry here or not ect.. ect..
