By the way, this is what a-holes say when they know they are being a-holes but don't want to take responsibility for being an a-hole.

Just admit that you're over critical and want to use your limited knowledge to belittle other people. At least then you'd be honest.

I think you want me to be sorry that our classes don't meet your criteria. Tough titties.

sorry you feel that way, but am truly just curious trying to gauge the caliber of your training material which allows the good citizens of CO to obtain their certification to process their state permit which is valid in the great state of NC and many other states in the nation.

just curious trying to discern if your 5K graduates are even qualified to handle a firearm after completion of your self developed 4-hour course, which one would presume covers at a minimum the state's laws of deadly force, firearm safety issues, uh, oh right appropriate shooting techniques, and one would hope include life fire for the students.

all in four hours...

like i said, not an arsehole, as you purport but just curious...

as well as very very concerned...

That's fair enough. He (my friend) came away thinking it was an "NRA" course, but he didn't describe it that way at all. May have been that he misunderstood a statement from the instructor(s). But yeah, he does confirm that all he and his wife wanted was the "golden ticket" you mentioned. He'll be doing more advanced defensive courses at a later date.

Either way, you're doing this at little-to-no cost, nearly statewide, and from all accounts still do a fantastic job. Keep it up!

It happens. Like I said, we occasionally offer the NRA basic pistol course, and so if someone was signing up on our website they might see that course mentioned.

We do the best we can. We always appreciate support.

How is he winging it, He is offering a class that meets the requirements.

If he has the options of deciding the curriculum so be.

I have instructor citification's from three different organizations.

There isn't a bit of different in the basics.

If he is teaching good safe firearm handling skills and the state accepts the training it is a good thing.

it appears there is no curriculum...

and the term is "IF"

i am sure the state hasn't audited the pseudo course...

This is the last thing I'm going to say to you Solus.

If you want to know what we are teaching, come to a class. If you're not going to do that, I really don't know what you want from me or why you are still talking. If you want me to post our powerpoint presentation, or recite exactly what we teach or why, I'm not going to waste my time. I never said it was an NRA course, and I don't really care if you like it or not. Our success, our reviews, our safety record, and our word of mouth advertising that fills every class to capacity speaks for itself. If you really want to keep talking, go and find me one single review of our class that justifies your position. I'm not going to wait around, I don't have that kind of time. Unlike you, I actually have things to do other than sit on an anonymous forum all day and spout my useless opinions.

well you have gone from name calling to completely defensive martyrdom...impressed.

but i suppose if you are a perspective student looking for the golden ticket and do not have a clue about firearms or the laws of deadly force, how would you know enough to complain about lack of expertise.

but the olde adage ~ you get what you pay for is apropos eh?

thank you for the kind offer to attend which i will take you up on your offer and will provide a viable critique...fair!
