Oh Damn. I will have just returned from a two week trip to/from AZ the week previous. I'll have to try to keep this on the radar for next year, or if I'm real lucky I'll make it this year.

As for why in Wenatchee, well for me it's simple. Would you rather it in Seattle amongst the ...................

Who is going on motorcycles?

Who's going in drag!.......:uhoh:

My Sweet Baboo and I will be headed to the annual camp out by motorcycle. Anyone who wishes to join with "the pack" can chime in to meet on the route. If you will be coming up from the south, we will be able to stand a few overnite guests to attend the ride. CPLs are needed to OC on a bike.

If I'm lucky, I might be able to join for this event. Hoping to be getting me a van early april for the purposes of being able to camp out while going to school full time in olympia. But this seems like a great idea too.

I'd really like to try to do this coming up from Salt Lake City (40 miles South) by motorcycle Trike and towing a camper trailer. Don't think I can be there earlier than the evening of the 15th and have to leave on Saturday for work requirements. Anyone I can share a spot with? When the tent camper is opened up it takes up less than the width of a standard parking spot.

I was kinda wondering about a similar idea. Right now, I don't have the ability to join or even pay for a reservation. But if I am able to get a van like I am planning, I would love to join everybody. If I could share a camping spot with somebody, I would be willing to split the cost assuming I am able to join.

Uh, it is a sticky. Their, not there deck. Burning treated wood highly frowned upon in WA.

I am STILL interested in joining you fine folks but I won't be going blind as to a place to camp. I don't take much room if ANYONE is will to share a spot. My fine wife even asked me if I was still planning on going--- so I guess that means she is OK with my taking this little trip! LOL

Van camping is a really great way to go,,,
OldGutShotWilly has offered to share his spot,,, look him up.

I am surprised you would want to come all the way from Utah to hang with our local riff raff!
You should try to get in touch with Squeak as he is a sometimes biker too.

It is too bad that nobody seems to write to the forum anymore,,, heck,, they dont even read it anymore!
I read it, and I write to it when I feel the urge, or the need, but I dont think I will be camping...

Anyhoo,,, of the 8 reserved spots, only #16 is already shared, sooo 7 spots could share iffn they want to.

You two will just have to write PMs or look for Emails to contact those with open spots...

Delaying my "visit" by one week. So don't look for me at your event. I do Plan on a stop in Spokane to visit a certain armed barista shop to show support as I take the LONG way round ending with a visit with my brother in Kent for a couple of days.

As for the surprise "someone" would want to go all the way up there to meet some folks who OC, Do I need a reason to do it?. Since this route is OVER 1000 miles I may turn it into another 1000 m8iles in 24 hours or less Iron Butt Saddle Sore Ride. I like to ride and visit and I always OC if it is LEGAL for me to do so. Combining meeting NEW to me OC'ers, camping, and a MOTORCYCLE TRIP seems like a good enough reason to me.

Go ahead and talk about the weird guy who OC's on a bright Yellow Trike pulling a camper trailer who likes to meet OTHER OC'ers, even those in OTHER States and locations!

For those that need a spot to camp. If I make it I will probably bring a tent (too expensive for gas for the camper), so I should have plenty of space. I just had my right hip replaced (side effect of carrying a full size Govt. 1911--j/k), so I might bail altogether. If I cancel I will post it a few days prior so that one of you guys can swoop into reserving my spot (#20). I would just love to make one of these trips, especially since I've got my Duck Dynasty swag already to go.
