Semi knowledgeable of past AMs, notwithstanding NC’s great fail, so curious on thoughts on carry at the event and amongst the Hoosier populace and throughout their state’s high/byways!

Anybody know specifics, with cites, about the Indiana Convention Center’s firearm carrying policies?

The goal is to provide members/nonmembers alike viable data so any of our readership can make conscious decisions regarding attending from wherever they live across this great nation.

There is always a portion of the NRA convention that is a GFZ. Even if the state nor venue can declare it so.

Most times its because some political pontiff is speaking.

If the speaker can't be heard armed then he/she shouldn't be there.

Which is why I've never attended a NRA convention.

Sincere Thanks for the invite, but they had one not long ago in Louisville, where there was no reason any part of the convention should have been a GFZ. But for Trump being brought in to lie about how great a 2a supporter he is.
Just have no use for the NRA.

You're missing one heck of a convention. I've carried at every NRA convention I've attended and it's not a problem. They do restrict some venues, like you mentioned, when some political person is speaking, but you just don't go to that stuff.

And like you stated, "If the speaker can't be heard armed then he/she shouldn't be there." With that I totally agree.
