I'm pretty sure you can count me in. My only annoyance is figuring out where to friggen park my F250 crew cab. Anybody going through the Baraboo area on the way to Madistan on Tuesday morning? Maybe I could hitch a ride.

you can park it in the lot at the restaurant...its a huge lot in a multi business strip mall..shoudlnt be a problem...

Is the point of going to the Capitol just to get the first application in or to have a meeting? Message me about being first application in.

I'm just going for the sushi. I hear it's to die for.

Actually I'm just turning mine in personally because I want to hang out in Mad town for a few days.

I don't care when they actually get around to processing mine. They can take their permit and :cuss::cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss::cuss: :cuss: :cuss::cuss::cuss:!

So what's the plan when we leave the restaurant, we going for pics at the capitol or just handing in the permits? Will someone be going in unarmed to make contact/handing in all our permits with Cindy or will we all be standing in line?

I'm still on the fence about coming down, I really want to just say I was there even if the permits take longer. If it's going to be an open carry event with photo ops then it all the better. Unfortunately I wont be able to stay all afternoon and we just got busy at work so that makes running over there that much harder of a decision.

We will be unarmed as we will be going in to hand in our applications and there will be a photo op for any legislators or staffers that want to join us. Then the Assembly will be taking up AB69 after 11:00 AM.

So what time are we meeting at the restaurant? I may have missed it in the thread. I'm driving from about an hour away, I'd guess. I want to make sure to be there for some grub and to make sure I don't miss a ride to the capitol.

Oh, and someone is bringing a printer right? If they don't put up the applications today, I'll be in need of one tomorrow.

So just to try to sum it all up.

Ellie's Family Restaurant 4102 Menona Dr. 53716. At around 6:00-6:30.

We will need paper that shows training, and/or out of state CCW card copy. If out of state CCW card copy is used we need the form that goes along with it.
We need a copy of State ID/drivers license.
We will need check/money order for $50, made out to the DOJ.

One of our great members will bring Apps, or a printer/computer to print off apps. I will give a few bucks to the person that brings me a copy of the App.

After we all have our paperwork ready, we will (walk?) to the Capitol, get in line, and hand them all in.

Did I miss anything?

I cannot see where they need a copy of our state id or drivers license although it would probably be a good idea to include one.

Added in blue....

They may ask for the DL number on the application, then they really wouldn't need it IMO. Of course, that's never stopped government from imposing stupid requirements before....

Just the DL or state ID # and the DOT has to have your current address on file.

Just and FYI to anyone that is sticking around to watch the Assembly debate AB69 -Castle Doctrine, it is going to be a very long day for the Assembly and there is no way to determine just when in the day it will be debated. It's not like SB93 where it was basically the only thing on the schedule and we still waited around for that one.

I do plan on staying for that.
