Non-Immigrant Firearms Purchase.

In Short:

A Non-Immigrant may purchase a Firearm in these circumstances:

  • They have an Admission or Alien number. (You may need to request this from Customs and Border Patrol upon entry to the US) Plus one of the following:
    • They meet the lawful sporting purpose exemption:
      • You must purchase the Firearm in a state in which you have 90 days residency.
      • You must have a valid Hunting License from ANY state.
    • They receive an exemption from the Attorney General of the United States. (Good luck!)
      • You must have been in the states for 180 days prior to submitting a request.
  • They do not take possession in the United States. (You would have the FFL ship it to your home country)

This is a basic outline. You are responsible to make sure you comply with Federal and State law.

There is a status (State National) of not being a citizen and yet one retains MORE rights than a U.S. Citizen; [link deliberately deleted]

Your link does not support your claim. Oh, there may be, buried on that page, something that does. But, your link is just a shameless plug for a (I assume your) blog page. Put it in your sig. If what you say here earns some respect, you'll get some hits from folks genuinely interested in what you have to say.

Instead, all you did was turn me off to your site. Yeah, you got a hit from me. You won't get any more.

Way to introduce yourself on your first post.

YES, first post and I'm humbly thankful for this community and proud of those who lawfully pursue our God given freedoms and liberties. Thank You to you specifically for your reply, I'm glad the topic sparks your interest.

I understand if you don't yet realize my claim. The site is more of an introduction on the subject. How far down did you read? Did you get to the "Guns" and 2nd Amendment section? Here is a site that is more specific to my claim; http://www.state-citizen.org/

P.S. Neither sites are my blogs or put up by me. ;-)

ENJOY!

It sparked no interest. My post clearly indicated that it did not. It is rude of you to ascribe to me an interest I do not have and did not indicate.

Moving on with a more thorough understanding of what you are.

I had interest until I clicked the link. I was turned off by all the tin foil and the lack of relevance to the subject it purported to address.

We are usually more precise in our linking here.
