Cops are the last people to ask for accurate info on the law. It has been years since I have looked it up but at one time hunting and pocket knives were named in the KRS statutes as OK to carry pretty much anyplace.

(c) Any knife other than an ordinary pocket knife or hunting knife; KRS 500.080

KRS code does not count pocket knives or hunting knives under deadly weapon but as usual common sense and the court system don`t exactly do together. Wonder how small a folder has to be to qualify as a pocket knife?
