I got wind of this via some half-a**ed threat from one of their more excitable members, and did some research as I was advised. Don't think they are going anywhere, and ot appears they are already suffering some internal discord. Not too surprising either, since this old ham has attached herself to it:

But during an interview in the story linked below, the following quote came out about OC, and I think it was an intentional statement to ward OC away

Recently I attended an event where Sheriff Mack was speaking. At this event this group was giving out all sorts of literature and was pushing some sort of large conference. Chelene and company were there and they introduced her as governor. At the time I thought it was strange, to say the least, and my only question at the time was who elected these people? Seems to me they are busy running around appointing themselves as official government representatives without being elected (doesn't that kind of make them unaccountable?) They pretend to have a deeper understanding of the Constitution, but then they turn around and nullify the 2nd Amendment administratively??? Yeah, sorry I won't be giving that one up anytime soon.

Chelene and a few others that run in our circles suffer from an inherent unweilding desire to seize power. Chelene is quite Napoleonic, even Hitlerian in nature, and pesky credentials such as constitutional studies are not allowed to stand in the way of manifest destinies.
That said, there are still other basic flaws that will limit the reach and membership of that organization. They seem to have drawn a small circle around the criteria which they intend to use to attract conscripts
