Not all of "thousands of Examiners" are knowlegable or honest.

The Examiners which you attack and slander include the owners of this forum (Mike and John) as well as Dave Workman amongst others. They are all extremely well versed, knowledgeable and while offering opinions not prone to making statements that they cannot back up with facts.

Not all are expert in their fields. Not all are entirely honest. John, Mike and Dave certainly are.

"I have stated that the influx of police from out of state has caused similar incidents here in Wyoming. It would appear that these occurrences are happening at a greater rate."

It's not just Wyoming, its also happening in Washington State. I got "felony" stopped (last fall) for OC'ing at a bus transit center after getting dropped off by a co-worker. Turns out the cop was a transplant from Texas. The city I was stopped in was the 1st city in Washington(2006) to issue a Police Training Bulletin on the legalities of Open Carry. Needless to say I filled in the Officer, then wrote a letter to the Chief asking for another training bulletin to be issued to his officers. One week later I got a reply and the request had been accomplished.

Simple, direct approach - it does work. :)

Hate to see this board surrendered to a p-i-s-s-i-n-g match. Can we leave this now and go talk about other things? :(

Edited due to the replacement of the word with all stars. Don't want anyone to think I use bad language. Who set up the nanny censor anyway. GRR

Let's do get back to the subject of the thread. Thanks...

So, ML, what is the latest on this issue? Or is it gonna get swept under the rug like so many other issues?

The problem is being dealt with... here, locally, between neighbors. As I said, we're trying to build bridges rather than burn them. I'm just really sorry the story went national like this. Mistakes were made on both sides, and it will take a while to work it all out. Pressure from outside won't likely help.

Just to illustrate the "bridges" - the police man who was involved has been invited to participate in a "Turkey Shoot" next week. The Newcastle man in this story is the sponsor of the shoot and did the inviting.

Thanks for your interest, everyone.
