Hey y'all! Ive been looking around here and just recently applied to get my Lifetime LTC. Not sure when i will get it but i see no reason for my app to be returned.

I'm interested in learning more about OCing and CCing.

Are there any of you from the Terre Haute/Vigo Co area?

ONly thing i can suggest when it comes to Indiana open carry, is becarefull of the cops you run into. I have talked to many cops here in this state, and i have heared many different interpretations of indianas laws. Several said they would throw you in jail for brandishing and disturbing the peace. Some say its legal but, would be hazardous to your health. Most, say that while its legal, we(the cops) would get 15 calls about a man with a gun.

I would love to do it with a group, but not to many meet near FT.Wayne

Unfortunately, you've embarked on a path that is largely devoid of the word "free". Guns, holsters, belts, ammo, supplies, sometimes new clothes, etc. *sigh* It's like having another kid. :uhoh:

Yea, but over $1100 is out of my price range til i hit the lottery. Im gonna be looking at either a fullsize Ruger or S&W in .45 once planting hits. Might change my mind though.

to me open carry or conceal carry is a matter of choice i perfer concealed, because i don't like to advertise,if someone is going to commit a crime against me,i like the element of surprise.
