You have just joined a club which I am a member. I have one stint that is over 10 years old. Did they put them in through your arm? Have a friend who just had a triple bypass. The heart hospital kept trying to send him home; they could not find anything wrong. Refused to leave, demanded them to do more tests. Bingo. Was in the hospital yesterday received two stint Right and left arteries 97 and 95 percent blocked.
Need to look for new GP and clinic been telling them for years I have had problems always put me off.
The propensity for artery-clogging cholesterol has a huge genetic component. If it’s in your DNA, you can do everything else right and still get clogged arteries. They did put them in through my arm. The doc said they were really close to splitting me open to do a bi-pass.
Glad they didn't.
I have been a avid exerciser for 40 plus years.
Non smoker non drinker.
The rehab nurse said my problem would be wanting to push it to fast.
I had been doing every thing right.
That most likely contributed to the problem that they dismissed my symptoms for the last 4 years.
One thing I learned for sure don't worry about pushing your doctor to do the right thing.
The propensity for artery-clogging cholesterol has a huge genetic component. If it’s in your DNA, you can do everything else right and still get clogged arteries.
I am glad someone finally listened.
In our current
healthcaremedical system, the patient is no longer the customer. The staff were likely trying to keep their administrative overlords or your insurancehuman body protection plan company happy.
Get away from the GP and get a specialist. A regular cardiologist visit every 6 months, with sonograms, blood tests, and EKG's help keep me up to date on my health and put my mind at ease.
Hell of a bullet you dodged.
I wonder if those who eat live octopus experience the same discomfort...i understand how you feel......i ate 12 hard tacos from Taco Bell and 2 large Coke and man, i felt a heart attack coming, but it turned out to be heart burn...
glad to see you are doing better
