To quickly answer:

KY recognizes all other states' licenses for CC.
Any nonfelon 18+ can OC.
Any nonfelon 18+ can carry a gun in their glovebox, most else requires a license.
To be short: You can carry in restaurants that serve alcohol provided they are more restaurant than bar. No carry allowed in bars.

You'll be just fine with the above. For more clarity, do a search in our forum.

You can carry inside the car, anywhere, as long as it is not concealed. On the front seat is just fine. If you put it in the glove box, that is not considered concealed.

The man has a Concealed Pistol License (CPL).

Quarter horseman. With your CPL you may carry your gun any way you wish in KY, loaded, unloaded, concealed, open, in a holster, stuck in your belt, in your pocket, ANY WAY YOU WANT. This includes on foot or in your car. Resturants that serve alcohol are ok as long as they aren't posted. No loaded guns in bars There are a few places where you may not CC, bars, schools, police stations, sheriff"s office, courtrooms, and a few others. Hope you enjoy your visit to Ky. More coplete info available at the Ky State Police website.

Thanks for all your help, My brother lives in TN and I'm just passing thru and didnt want to have to look up all the laws, just needed a easy quick answer to the questions thanks again all of you.
