This event has been all over the forums that I frequent, and has been laughed at even in the UK and IRAN...I kid you not.

I called the department when this happened to ask how they could do it, and if i could speak to anyone in charge about it. Receptionist was very very very upset that I had the audacity to ask such questions, and that he turned himself in. I then asked , then if he turned him self in was it needed to evac the neighborhood and call in the swat team? She get more upset and said i need to call back later and hung up.

Bloody shocking if you ask me.

shocking doesnt cover it..... and then to have the local newspaper (which was investigating) decide to run editorials in favor of the police action before the investigation was over.... totally stunning..... the police higherarchy and the local paper are inleague and worthy of contempt.

I said..... WE NEED TO NOT LET THIS DIE.

How many from the Medford area are willing to show up Open Carry at a city council meeting to demand action on this matter?

I am willing to OC and speak, my wife is willing to CC with a video recorder if there is any problem. We also have the capability to do wireless remote audio recording separate from the camcorder audio (i.e. the mic is on me and the recorder is LOCKED - ergo search warrant required) and in her possession.
