Looks like some of the folks over a SubGuns are planning on having a Machine Gun Shoot on 11/5/2011 at Peidmont, AL:

I have no connection with the group, just passing it along.

"Come on down.It is a free event for everyone.We/They don't charge anything to shoot or just to watch. We encourage machinegun participation but if it goes boom bring it.Single shot black powder,22LRs,155 Howitzers. It don't matter. One of the persons that puts this show on is a County Mounty and the other is a Machinist working for a DOD contractor. They are as down home as everyone else and are on our side.We have a safety meeting at 10AM so get them early.I would suggest 9AM latest if you want a parking spot.It ain't a knob creek but by no means.I would say it is far better than knob creek. They don't charge you your first born to attend and shoot or have all the riff Raff like Knob Creek does.In fact,We do NOT condon any type or radicalism or racism. No Neo-Nazis,Skin heads, etc etc like the recent reports at the Creek. We had to run some off a few years ago and I think they got the point. We ain't had them back yet.The show is held to high safety standards. We have never had a major injury.Cuts,Scratchs, burns yes but never anything that needed more than a band-aid."
