The past week or so there has been a spate of gang-related shootings. There was a double one a few days ago, one yesterday and another one this morning. They are apparently all connected to the same gangs.

Anyway, I took a gander at the crime news & updates on Facebook and saw this comment: "omg we are becoming just like America, we have to toughen up on the gun laws seriously , that's only around the corner"

So, tightening restrictions on law-abiding firearms owners will somehow stop ILLEGAL gun crime? Wow. I fear that the majority of the Australian public has the same mindset as well....
