Is bump firing illegal? I've never heard of anyone calling it out until now.

No its not illegal, but the way its done, one could argue that you don't have control of the weapon, and you open yourself up to a reckless discharge ticket. I'm not voting pro or con, look on you tube if you've never seen it before.

Went to Mio Mc'Ds . . . We were just about finished when we were approached by two employees. . . . I then was informed that they want to insure that there business remained a Criminal Empowerment Zone in that my gun was not welcome.

I find it fascinating how pervasive it is in some people to desire to dominate and control others. Give these burger-flippers a country to run, and it would probably resemble Nazi Germany.

On topic, OC'd at a convenience store at Walton and Perry in Auburn Hills this morning. No issues.

OCed at Byron Family Restaurant in Byron Center with Quarterhorseman, Steel Magnolia & QH's exceptionally well behaved kids.

I recommend the perch, the burgers looked excellent, service was great, and, oh, no one said anything or ran away screaming, etc, etc. Put them on the good list!

We gotta do this again! BTW, Byron Center is a little SW of Grand Rapids.

Shadow bear and Steel Magnolia are great people and fun to talk with, I will meet up with them again soon I hope. OC dinner at Byron Family restaurant went very well no issues as normal, and another business and city awakened to OC.

Thank you for the nice comment on my kids they are good kids thank GOD, I would not expect anything less from them.

Carry on!

That is a pretty good way to "bring back the thread". Good to see you here sir!

I have been thinking about posting something similar, but had not come up with a good way to do so. Thanks for leading us here!

Why can't some sausages express their anti-OC opinions in a constructive way? My guess is you ate him alive in response. Literally. Heh heh.

On topic, OC'd in 7-Eleven at Walton and Dexter in Auburn Hills. Bought a few things, but the Twix ice-cream bar wouldn't scan (bar code not flat). The employees know me as a regular, the line was backing up, so the cashier gave it to me gratis. That was the only issue I experienced. :)

OC'd in Cadillac, MI last night.

OC'd in Ruby Tuesdays. I also OC'd into Meijer's, were multiple children were present. None clutched on to their parents nor exhibited fear. That must be something kids only do in CADL.

Yes, fear of firearms is a primal instinct that all humans are born with. It is quite amazing when you think about it. :p

On topic, I've open carried in my local library (Allendale Township in Ottawa County) a few times with my kids. No one batted an eye.

hi

What's up guys,

I have had my ccw for over 5 year and just now found out about oc when I went to class to renew my license 2 weeks ago. Later that night I oc in the following places:

Wendy's Flint
Wal-mart Flint
Guns Galore Fenton
and some convince store I stopped at to get some Gatorade, good story to follow here

I walk into the store to get me something to drink and 3 guys walk in. I don't think they seen me in the back of the store. As I started to walk to the counter the guy rings me up and the guys look at me and leave. I kindly pay for my drink and as I get ready to leave the guy ask me "Are you a cop". I kindly reply "No" he nods, says thank you and I left the store.

:)
