Hello new here and have a couple questions. I am 19 years old and a lifetime New Mexico resident. I just received a Glock 23 for christmas. It has been transferred to me from my father and is now in my name. I live in a rural area in the East Mountains and have been carrying .22s since i was about 12 in case any coyotes came a long onto our property or anything of that sort. Now since I legally own a handgun, I would like to start Open carrying in town. Here comes my question, is there any complications with OC since I'm not 21? I don't want to have to deal with any BS hassles, better safe than sorry.

19+ for anything handgun related in NM unless you are supervised by a guardian.



And yes, your car is an extension of your home here, so you can CC and OC at your will while inside your car. . .or on your motorcycle.
