If it is the State Veterans' Cemetary in Amelia County, there might not be a problem. (State entities/agencies are not included in preemption but they do need to post.) If it's a cemetary run by the Dept. Of Veterans Affairs the answer is "No!".[SUP]1

[/SUP]stay safe.

[SUP]1[/SUP]Be very careful. Most of the cemetaries within National Parks are Dept. Of Veterans Affairs-operated and their "no weapons" rule applies. Not even knives are supposed to be brought in. Keeps the place safer, donchaknow.:banghead:

Its Albert G Horton in Suffolk. Its state ran though nationally funded. Its falls under Virginia Department of Veterens Services, so i'm assuming its state ran only.

The website http://www.dvs.virginia.gov/cemetery_horton.shtml confirms it is part of the Virginia Office of Veterans Services. Nohing at the website about firearms - not even for honor guards.

I know a job is a job regardless of where/what, but caring for veterans even after death deserves a special "Thank You".

stay safe.

Isn't it just like the government to protect them after they're dead.

And here I always thought it was to protect we the living from harming the BGs that prey there.

stay safe.

Well, ya know. I do believe you have a point there. Makes more sense. Professional courtesy, that sort of thing. Besides, you never know when one of those bad guys might ripen into, say, a delegate or senator. Gotta protect the next generation, you know.

Sounds like MPGUY might need some Hornady Zombie Max ammo..You never know who you may run into.

As an aside, I echo Skid and thanks for taking care of ours that gave theirs.

Scott

Lol I have a box of zombies. Actually the wife was robbed about 10 min from my work last year. With the 5 brake INS we've had at work this year so far and the wife still dealing with what happened, she asked me to buy one.
