As is the case in presenting information from afar just to suit the newspeek’s biases so they meet their own self-promotion agenda, here is another comment from http://english.alarabiya.net/en/var...general-fatally-shot-himself-by-accident.html

“Iranian news outlets have released mixed reports on whether or not an Iranian general allegedly shot himself in the head by accident while cleaning his pistol. According to the Associated Press....”

Considering the position the individual held and the locale and it’s ongoing military activity where it occurred, suicide would be the last option some should consider, but that option is the best for the government to promote instead of a possible insurrection in the guard.

I am near finished re-reading The Crusades: A History (Bloomsbury, ) by Jonathan Riley-Smith as prologue to Richard Spencer’s The History of Jihad: From Muhammad to ISIS (Bombardier, 2018).

The Saracens / Moslems have been in continuous jihad since before 632 CE with no interregnum or peaceful intervals. It would seen that a general officer in a culture at war for as long as it has existed would know guns.
