The program stated that "Michigan Law Prohibits any weapons, including concealed weapons, on Interlochen property because we are an educational campus." Does this camp fall under the "Schools" of the MCL 28.425o?

Yes, I'm afraid it does. And, since the school is a private school, OC with a CPL, although legal under state law could cause you to be asked to leave under threat of being charged with Trespass. Since they are private they would not be covered under any notion of "preemption".

So, wait! "Michigan Law" specifically states that you can't carry at Interlochen (under penalty of jail time and/or fines)?

That's awful specific.

That's like saying; "Michigan law says you can't carry at Bob's house down on Crenshaw St."
Maybe I missed something?

Hope that you did not miss that private property is still private property in Michigan....and no you cannot carry at "Bob's house down on Crenshaw St" if Bob says "No."
