This happened a couple of weeks ago and I thought I would share it.

My son and I where on our way into Wal-Mart and there was a couple on thier way out. The man, very clean cut and looked to be in very good shape, looked at me and stopped dead in his tracks. Suprisingly, the look on his face was very welcoming. He left his wife with the shopping cart and walked straight over to me and thanked me for Carrying and shook my hand. He then said he was a pastor of a church and that one of his members Open Carries in church. Right away, I was pretty sure who is was talking about. I said, "Lance Galloway, right, I know him". Yup, it was him. Practically the entire congregation is cool with it. We talked abit about church shootings. In closing we shared a common sentiment that we can't wait until we have permits in hand. Added that Lance would also be able to carry when he drives the bus to pick up all the kids for Sunday School. It was a good interaction.

Excellent... It is so nice to read POSITVE stuff here rather than all the NEGATIVE stuff that seems to prevail...

Thanks for the post... It literally put a smile on my face...

My niece and nephew survived a church shooting in Texas because one of the members was able to shoot the attacker. Do guns belong in church? Absolutely.

I am very thankful that my church respects my rights. I know of 4 to 6 other guys in church who will carry when CC becomes law my church will be the safest in town.

Thanks for sharing this story. If I lived in the area, I would want to go to that Pastor's services every once in a while.

And Jesus said, if you do not have a sword (gun), sell your cloak and buy one. This Pastor "gets it" about that scripture passage.
