We need warm bodies people. With the "donkeys" in charge of ALL THREE branches of state government, we have an uphill battle. We have already seen some of the damage with the recent signing of a law duplicating at state level the same over-bearing regulation of the feds on FFLs.
There is also an AWB in committee that might even outlaw a Ruger 10/22 as there is no exception for rimfires.
WE NEED PEOPLE TO MARCH WITH US.

With some of the pending legislation, such as giving the ISP (state police) the right to look at your "social media" accounts sans warrant to determine whether or not you are "allowed" to have a FOID, without which you can't own OR possess either guns OR ammo, you may be right.
