Match Location: SFA Shooting Range located Fallon, NV 3.5 miles north of Rattlesnake Raceway, entrance on Indian Lakes Road

Registration 9:00 – 9:55 a.m.
Mandatory Shooters Meeting and Safety Brief 10:00 a.m.
Match immediately follows.

ICORE Style Revolver Match, non-sanctioned match this date, but look for official ICORE sanctioned matches in the future.

What is ICORE? International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts (ICORE) combines elements of the Bianchi Cup, ISPC, and the Steel Challenge into demanding competition exclusively for revolvers. Similar to USPSA/IPSC, but for revolvers only.

Match format: Shooter vs. Clock. Six stages.

Divisions/Classes: ICORE has three competitive divisions, delineated by equipment rules:
Open, Limited, and Classic. Depending on your time and accuracy, you will earn one of six classifications: Grand Master, Master, A, B, C, or D.

Equipment: The revolver you already own may be just what you need to get started in ICORE shooting. Holster must be attached to your gun belt, securely hold your firearm, cover the trigger guard area; your belt must be sufficiently strong enough to hold your holster and loaders in a safe manner and must be worn about the waist (women may wear theirs at hipbone level.) You may do your initial loading from pockets prior to beginning the course of fire, but during the course of fire all reloads must come from your belt. You must have sufficient loaders and belt holders to complete the course of fire.

For more info, visit www.icore.org For equipment specs, see http://www.icore.org/rulebook.html#_Toc6

Eye and ear protection required.

Entry fee: FREE! Membership not required.

This is SFA’s “trial run” match – and your chance to see what ICORE/Practical Shooting is all about!
