Um, okay, that's sorta misleading. Wasn't there to take part in the quasi-protest or whatever it is. Saturday I was in downtown Cincy sharing the sidewalks where the marchers were marching, and at the town square they stopped at, whilst open carrying. (Me, not them! ;)) It raised a few of their eyebrows, seemed to me a couple of them got to looking a bit green-around-the-gills at the sight of a firearm, but I was just passing through enroute to the tobacconist shoppe.

This wasn't something I set out to do at all, just a coincidental happenstance. But the reaction from a few of the "Occupy!" crowd made me wish I'd planned something (hopefully with a few other OC'ers) during that time.

BWHAHAHAH! You freaking kill me with your picture posts you usually do. I genuinely lol'ed at this "F#&k yea" stick figure picture after reading the bolded quote.

Anyway, I wonder if anyone in the "Occupy" crowd was open carrying? I'm not sure what "types" of people were protesting, but it sounds like they wouldn't be the ones who would like such a type of thing.

The threads on this forum are always so serious, I figure it's good to have someone who constantly throws comic relief into the equation.

The "Occupy Cincinnati" crowd has moved a block or two north to Piatt/Garfield Park. (This area has VERY strong wi-fi--we know this group wants lotsa publicity, live streaming and such--plus it's a bit more out of the way of pedestrian traffic than Fountain Square is.)

You mean they are using their laptops (made by multi-billion dollar corporations) and smart phones (made by multi-billion dollar corporations) to post on fACEbook (a multi-billion dollar corporation) in a Wi-Fi hot-spot (created by multi-billion dollar corporations) to protest how multi-billion dollar corporations suck?

Those occupy idiots can't figure that one out.

I think I'm going to plagiarize that one!

Of course they were using their phones, computers, cars etc made my multimillion dollar corporations. They're not protesting the corporations, they're protesting the personification (as 14th amendment citizens) of the corporations. And other things. There was a peaceful pro-marijuana relegalization demonstration at Keene, NH where a man was open carrying, sober and peaceful. Of course the cops freaked, and did everything they could to escalate the situation. The Citizen refused to allow the police to escalate, and was let go. MY fear is that if Cincinnati's murder-hungry cops see a gun, they'll use it as an excuse to murder even more.

I sure am glad you weren't part of that socialist gathering. These people are brainwashed and don't have a clue as to what a free society is all about. They want everything that everyone who has made it has except they don't want to work for it. :banghead: Glad to hear you didn't have any problems. I'm surprised that you didn't recieve a lecture on how evil guns are.
