I have been thinking about open carry, but still undecided due to social pressure.

Open carry around your neighborhood until you get comfortable and than go further until it becomes natural for you , I open carry alot even in the home and the only time I conceal is when I head down to Detroit and then I wear a shoulder holster and it is to not offend any of my snobby family members but once I am out of their house off comes the coat unless its winter .

Open carry around your neighborhood for awhile during walks and such and once you get comfortable than go out further and once you get feeling confident and comfortable do it whenever you can , I always open carry except when I am in the Detroit area and then I wear a shoulder holster and a jacket .

Alas, Since9, the OP originally posted in March 18,later bragged on the forum about killing the neighbourhood dog he bought the gun to hunt the animal down originally a few months later and hasn’t been heard from again!

Please let the thread die, Richbuff’s intent(s) were nefarious at best, all so he could discern unofficial legalities about carrying a handgun to kill a dog which had been pestering him during his community walks.

The late great Grapeshot heavily censored out the details of this individual’s discussions about killing an animal with local LEs about judical repercussions as well as member’s contributing contentious commentary about a) don’t; b) police will lie to you, 3) possible judical/civil liability, 4) viable alternative(s), etc.

Unfortunately, it was no avail, as Richbuff posted, bragged actually, the deed was done and hasn’t been back since!

Now, as the used to say, this is but one story from the naked city & move on, there is nothing to see folks, just move along!
