HOW TO REALLY RESTORE (ENFORCE) OUR UNALIENABLE RIGHT TO CARRY

I just heard Devvy Kidd last week on Jeff Rense's show mention that we need to get on our state legislators before November about restoring our constitutional state militias if we want to have the full force of exercising our un-alienable RIGHT to bear arms instead of wasting money on the NRA. I think this is a great idea. Any thoughts to expound on this?July 11 at 3:06pm we should follow along the lines of the Alaska state militia in making cops accountable (following proper due process) when contacting citizens to do the right thing. RESTORE Constitutional state militias through the state legislature, get on your state represenatatives and state senators before this November 2012! PLEASE READ for info how to implement this plan in motion right away: http://www.newswithviews.com/Devvy/kidd412.htm PLEASE SHARE far and wide, make viral!

Are you suggesting that the militia does not exist?

Or are you wanting the militia to take on new powers beyond defending against insurrection and invasion?

stay safe.

The time elapsed from reading my post to you responding is only 7 min, please take some more time to read the entire article including the links. I think you will see where this is going and that this is a good method to restore our RIGHT to bear arms and guard against the anarchy we get from our government by enforcing the rule of law upon them with arms. Give it a look mate before finalising your opinion.

Take care brother, in LIBERTY

Howdy!
The first link to a video ends up at a video that was removed by the original poster.
The article itself was written in 2008, just after the election when the dems had a majority in the house and slight edge in the senate.
The dire consequences extolled in the article have not manifested.
So long as there is a balance, I do not think you'll see sweeping changes in gun rights.
But there is legitimate concern that we should all express our views to elected representatives vis a vis gun rights.
We also should work to help pro gun incumbants remain in office, and elect others to strengthen that coalition.
But we don't need a bunch of toadies to the corporatacracy either.

Those folks who run for office at every level of government need to remember they are 'supposed to be' representing the people; not corporations.

Both major political parties have sold us down the river.

Blessings,

Thomas Jefferson said, "No man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."

Tench Coxe, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury (1789), said, "The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people."

Noah Webster said, "The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword, because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops."

In Federalist Paper No. 46, James Madison said the Constitution "preserves the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation, the existence of subordinate governments, to which the people are attached,. . . forms a barrier against the enterprises of ambition. . . ."

While I agree state militias would help, the power lies in the armed hands of the people.
