What a joke!

I have one of those swiss army knives with a 2.5 blade. I use it as a letter opener here at my desk. It also comes in handy to sharpen pencils, peel apples and cut string.

A TEENAGER was stabbed to death on a bus after defending his girlfriend after she was punched by a man.

Marcin Bilaszewski, 19, was out with mates celebrating girlfriend Ania Betlinska's 18th birthday when his group got into an altercation with a man on the No.254 train near North London's Finsbury Park Tube station, The Sun reports.

They group left the train and got on a bus, but the man followed them, punching Ms Betlinska. When Mr Bilaszewski stepped in,the man stabbed him in the stomach and ranoff, The Sun said.

Mr Bilaszewski was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.

A manhunt was underway last night bypolice who have the name of a suspect aged between 30 and 40, The Sun said.

Mr Bilaszewski is the 11th teen killed this year but the eighth in just over six weeks, the paper said.

We must ban guns
and knives,
then sticks and rocks,
and finally hands, because people are still being killed.

Yet when you ask for some kind of meaningful punishment for those who kill, you see an interesting trend.

Few who want to ban weapons want criminals to actually have to pay for their crime - that would be "inhumane".

They seldom are able to express any sympathy whatsoever for the victims. But they'll march to protect the perpetrator from just punishment.

This, and this alone, is enough to diagnose these folks as mentally ill.

Just a quick thought; didn't us Crazy Colonials get our ideas on guns and weapons and the idea for the 2nd Adm from the English? What in the world has happened in the UK?

As far as I know, it's a summarization of part of that book done by Don Kates.

Although, I did some looking and apparently it might be in the eighth edition, MAYBE.

I'm not particularly interested in looking, however, if you can track down a copy, feel free to look. :)

...and cricket bats, privately-owned vehicles, pencils and pens, ceramic/stonewear plates and mugs, fingernail clippers, hammers, wooden barstools, heavy cameras, screwdrivers, upright lamps with a heavy base, CDs and DVDs, bricks, metal pipes...

Just ban everything except flimsy paper and hay!
